Downtown Oakville Shop Featured in The Girlfriend Network Publication

"Women should feel good" is one of the reasons Noriko fell in love with European fashion, and after sharing her fashion finds with friends and a select clientele, Noriko has now opened LUXFiNDZ, a fashion boutique in downtown Oakville.

 

A single mom for many years, Noriko did not have the luxury of time to go and shop in Malls in search of fashion she loved. Instead, to fight jet lag on business trips to Europe as a Business Developer for a Software company, Noriko would walk the quaint streets of European cities staying awake for the evening meetings. On these adventures she was drawn to smaller fashion boutiques and would come home with wonderfully unique pieces that people would always ask about.

Noriko already has a loyal clientele after Royal St George's College in Toronto gave her an opportunity to set up a booth for a fundraiser. The feedback was amazing. A loyal clientele was growing and many Southern Ontario private school PTA's started to ask her to appear at their fundraisers. 

 

Fashion for Noriko is a passion. She is still a VP in the Software business, and is also a busy Realtor, but opening the boutique in November 2021 is allowing her to share the true passion in her life to everyone. It also gives her clientele a year-round location to visit, and introduces these designers to new customers. Fashion to Noriko means making women not only feel good but also she finds items that women want with slightly thicker materials to help disguise those problem areas; thighs, stomach and butt.

 

LUXFiNDZ offers styles from designers in London, Portugal, Spain, Denmark, Brazil, New York and Dubai, and many more. She has no fear of colour and pattern and tries on every style before ordering for the store. The most beautiful clothes may not present well on a hanger on a rack and so Noriko makes a point of understanding the fit and look of each item. If she doesn't feel good in it, she won't buy it. 

 

The boutique also offers a selection of repurposed designer jewellery by Design Therapy, and later this year will feature hats from Hats of Hardy, and a limited accessory range from Fesvedy, all female-owned Canadian small businesses.

 

We visited the store in May, and Noriko picked out a range of wonderful items for us to try out and photograph. From distressed great fitting denim, to formal event dresses, there really is something for everyone and every occasion. It's well worth the drive to downtown Oakville to support a wonderful female entrepreneur.
